From Bed to Birth is more than a blog — it's a TESTIMONY.
This blog was born from one of the most isolating and painful journeys a woman can face: pregnancy with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG).
My name is KayBee, and I created this space because HG almost broke me.
For nine long months, I battled relentless nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and dehydration. I lived in and out of hospital beds, hooked up to IVs, barely able to eat, sleep, or walk — all while carrying life inside me. It wasn't "morning sickness." It was a fight for survival.
And yet, no one talks about it.
No one tells you how terrifying it feels to resent a pregnancy you prayed for.
No one tells you how lonely it is when doctors minimize your pain.
No one tells you how much you’ll grieve the glow you thought you’d feel.
That’s why this blog exists.
From Bed to Birth is a safe place for women navigating HG, complicated pregnancies, birth trauma, and postpartum healing. It’s a space for truth, tears, and triumphs. A space for the moms who feel like they’ve been forgotten or dismissed.
We tell the stories that often go untold.
We offer connection to women who need to know:
You are not weak. You are not crazy. And you are not alone.
This is your space — whether you’re in bed, in recovery, or rebuilding yourself.
With love,
KayBee
